Hello friends! Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has recently made important changes. Let’s know about them.
Amendment Notification)
HPPSC has amended Rule 6(B)(iii) of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (Procedure and Transaction of Business) Rules, 2023. These changes have been made in the rules notified on 3 May 2023.
Computer Based Test & Offline Test)
Now, every question in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Offline Test (Objective Type) will have four (A, B, C, D) options and one option ‘E’ if the candidate does not want to answer the question.
Negative Marking)
All objective type screening tests/exams will have negative marking. The candidate will have to click the correct option on the computer or fill the correct option in the OMR sheet with black or blue pen.
Option ‘E’)
If the candidate wants to avoid negative marking, then he has to fill option ‘E’. There will be negative marking for leaving any answer blank.
Answer Key Upload)
The answer key of CBT will be uploaded online in “MY EXAMINATION MY ONLINE REVIEW” in the user IDs of the candidates, and the answer key of offline test will be uploaded on the commission’s website.
Objection Submission)
Candidates can submit their objections within 5 days of publication of the answer key. A fee of Rs 100 will be charged per objection.
Online Objection Filing)
Objections will be accepted only in online mode on the HPPSC website. Objections will not be accepted through any other mode.
Immediate Effect)
These amendments have come into effect with immediate effect. For more information, visit the HPPSC website.
