In continuation to this office letter dated 26.05.2023 vide which applications were invited for 06 posts of Shastri (for PWD/PH category), now Applications are invited for filling-up 16 posts of Shastri reserved for benchmark disability (Person with disability) on contract basis. 1 Name of Post and Shastri on contract basis on a fixed salary Rs. 21360/- (minimum of the time)

Essential qualification for Shastri:-Shastri with at least 50% marks from a university/institution recognized by H.P. Govt. AND Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET Shastri) Note: Relaxation up to 5% will be allowed in minimum educational qualifications and also in minimum qualifying marks for TET to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories of H.P. Desirable qualification Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. Note: The Candidate shall be eligible for appointment, if he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any school/Institution situated within H.P. provided this condition is not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

Age Limit:-18 to 45 years (Upper age limit is relaxable under Rules)

The applications are invited only from eligible candidates on plain paper along with Educational/Professional qualification certificates and other relevant supporting documents which should reach in the office of the Deputy Director of Elementary Education Chamba District Chamba – 176310 on or before 07.08.2023.
