📝 Stage I: MCQ Written Exam Details
Make sure you understand the exam pattern and marking scheme to avoid losing marks unnecessarily:
- Number of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Options: 4 alternatives for each question.
- Duration: 2 Hours.
- Marking Scheme:
- Correct Answer: Marks allocated to the question will be awarded.
- Wrong Answer (Negative Marking): 0.50 marks will be deducted as a penalty for every incorrect answer.
- Un-attempted Questions: No marks will be awarded or deducted.
- Multiple Answers: Darkening more than one option for a question will be treated as a wrong answer and will invite the 0.50 negative marking.
⚠️ OMR Sheet Rules
- Pen Only: Use only Blue or Black ballpoint pens to darken the circles. The use of gel pens and pencils is strictly prohibited.
- Proper Filling: Completely darken only one circle. Do not use tick marks, cross marks, or any other signs.
- Handle with Care: Do not fold, mutilate, or leave stray marks on the OMR sheet. Doing so can lead to disqualification.
- Signature: Put your signature in the designated rectangular box on the OMR sheet only in the presence of the Invigilator.
- Submission: You must hand over both the Question Booklet and the OMR Sheet to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
💻 Stage II: Computer-Based Skill/Trade Test
- Who is eligible? Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in Stage I (as decided by the Selection Committee) and successfully clear document verification.
- Nature of the Test: Stage II is qualifying in nature.
- Final Selection: Your final merit ranking is based on your Stage I written exam score. However, if you fail to qualify in Stage II, your candidature will be cancelled, and you will not be considered for the merit list.
📂 Document Verification & Candidature Rules
Your candidature remains provisional throughout the process. Receiving an admit card does not mean your eligibility is confirmed.
- Verification Time: Documents will be thoroughly verified before the Stage II (Skill/Trade Test) begins.
- Strict Deadlines: If you do not meet the eligibility criteria or fail to present original certificates (educational, experience, caste/category, etc.) during verification, your candidature will be cancelled instantly. No extra days/time will be granted to submit pending documents.
- Appearance & Signature Match: Your physically printed photograph on the admit card must match your uploaded photo (do not change your physical appearance from the photo). Additionally, your signature must match the uploaded version, or you won’t be allowed to sit for the exam.
