Approval to fill 700 posts of home guards
Himachal Pradesh Cabinet meeting was held in Shimla on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Many major decisions were taken in the meeting. In the cabinet meeting, approval was given to fill 700 posts of Home Guard Volunteers in the Home Guard and Civil Defense Department. They will be deployed in hospitals and medical colleges. In the cabinet meeting, approval was given to regularize the services of 203 Panchayat Secretaries (Zila Parishad Cadre) who have completed two years of contract services till 31 March 2025. Now they will get a monthly salary of Rs 32,000 instead of Rs 12,270. The cabinet approved the transfer of Himachal Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) office from Shimla to Dharamshala.
